Diastasis Detective Program

Module 1: Intro

What is abdominal separation + what causes it?

WHAT IS ABDOMINAL SEPARATION (DIASTASIS RECTI)?

Diastasis recti is a condition where the rectus abdominis muscles tear away from the connective tissue, separating it from the linea alba.

The linea alba is a cord of collagen that goes from the base of the xyphoid process (sternum) all the way down to the pubic bone (pubic symphysis).
